About the Outcry in the Barrio Home
OUR DOORS ARE OPEN 24/7 .
The Outcry Home was founded with the intention of curing the drug addict through a complete faith in God. Those who enter our doors are counseled, encouraged and prayed for by former addicts who have completed the program and now serve as counselors.
In rehabilitating drug addicts we have to meet their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. We believe that we have a mind that needs education, a body that needs food and a spirit that needs God.
The Outcry In The Barrio Home is built on four pillars: Love, Authority, Supervision, and Discipline. And it is these four principles that permeate throughout all facets of our program.

"A man who has come back from the precipice can best warn others," President George H.W. Bush said in 1990 as he presented Pastor Freddie with an "Achievement Against All Odds Award."
In 1970, Pastor Freddie and his wife, Ninfa, opened a ministry to addicts in San Antonio, Texas. Metanoya began in their home and then spread over the years, as they equipped former addicts who founded other ministry sites in the southwest United States, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain.
In 1981, Pastor Freddie and Ninfa launched Jose Luis and his wife, Lucy to the city of Corpus Christi.

In 1981, Pastor Jose Luis and his wife Lucy, moved to Corpus Christi, Texas and opened their home to drug addicts and alcoholics in need of rehabilitation and established The Outcry In The Barrio Home of Corpus Christi and Victory Life Fellowship of Corpus Christi.
For over 30 years, Outcry in the Barrio (formerly known as the Victory Home) and Victory Life Fellowship have reached out to the worse of the worse. Those whom society has given up all hope on.
Pastor Flores says, "We see ourselves like a beggar who found a loaf of bread telling other beggars where to find it. We found the answer for drug addiction and it's in the person of Jesus Christ. "

Outcry in the Barrio Home Director
In 2015, under the direction and leadership of Jubal Garcia, lead Pastor of Outcry in the Barrio Global,
and Jose Luis Flores, founder of Outcry in the Barrio of Corpus Christi and Victory Life Fellowship,
Anthony along with his wife and daughter gladly answered God's call to lead the Outcry in the Barrio Home in Corpus Christi.
In continuing the legacy of reaching the addict for Christ, Anthony and his family serve the men God brings into their home by sharing with them the gospel message of Jesus Christ and salvation through Him alone. Anthony and Bithiah not only share their faith but their lives as well.
“Don’t begin by traveling to some far-off place to convert unbelievers. And don’t try to be dramatic by tackling some public enemy. Go to the lost, confused people right here in the neighborhood. Tell them that the kingdom is here. Bring health to the sick. Raise the dead. Touch the untouchables. Kick out the demons. You have been treated generously, so live generously." Matthew 10:5-8
The Outcry in the Barrio Home is totally free of charge to anyone looking for freedom
from their addiction and is supported primarily through funds contributed by individuals,
charitable business’, civic, social, and religious organizations.
